The Collaborative Announces Former Fidelity Executive Meg Kelleher Joins as Managing Director

Medfield MA—September 5, 2017
Press Release

The Collaborative is excited to announce an expansion to their talented team of long-time industry practitioners with the addition of Meg Kelleher as Managing Director. Prior to joining The Collaborative, Meg was a regional managing director for Fidelity Clearing & Custody Solutions (FCCS), a unit of Fidelity Investments that provides a comprehensive custody platform, brokerage services, trading capabilities, and practice management and consulting services to registered investment advisors, including strategic acquirers and professional asset managers, as well as retirement service providers.

With more than 30 years of financial services experience, Meg had national responsibility for FCCS’ Core Advisor Solutions (CAS) group and the Business Development Group (BDG), as well as retirement plan advisor clients. She oversaw a dedicated team to attract and serve small advisors on Fidelity’s platform, and to promote the services of 401(k) retirement plan record keepers while engaging more effectively with advisors who sell retirement plans. In this role, Meg helped clients drive scale and efficiency, grow their business, and stay at the forefront of their industry. She was named one of the “2013 Most Influential People” by the 401kWire.

“I am very excited to be embarking on a new professional challenge and can’t think of a better fit than The Collaborative. Bev and I have known each other for 11 years, and we share a passion for helping clients achieve their goals,” said Meg.

Meg will begin working with The Collaborative’s clients in September and will be involved in business development, and delivery of the firm’s proprietary services.

“I am so personally excited to have someone of Meg’s caliber join our team. Her strategic and tactical insights will be invaluable to our clients,” said Beverly Flaxington, co-founder and principal of The Collaborative.

“Meg has industry experience in banking, retirement, asset management, and working with financial advisors,” said Ms. Flaxington, “and can add value to all of our client engagements as a result.”
